UPDATE - 6/23/2026 To the company's credit, the president of the company called me after this review and after some apparent book-keeping issues, they've promised a check in the mail for the rebate amount. Consequently, I'm increasing the score because of the follow up but it was not a good experience regarding the water heater purchase. It seems they may be better suited to commercial rather than residential contracts in that area. ++++ ORIGINAL POST from 6/8/2026+++++++ We've had good experiences w Old Coast regarding our HVAC system. HOWEVER, we were looking to replace a hot water heater and they responded to a query that they do that work as well. I was contacted by their hot water heater sales person, Roy M. The first thing he did was suggest that we leave the old water heater in the attic because it was going to be hard to get down. When I said that wasn't acceptable, he said the team would move it along the rafters when they installed the new one. When the team arrived, they said that wasn't possible and they had to tear down a wall to remove it. The team did a good job but it was unplanned and not what Roy had said would happen. More to the point, Roy kept making

The initial installation process was great but less than 2 years into a brand new system and I had to bring in another company to properly fix my ac. After spending thousands of dollars, having to call in another set of eyes is not ideal. I received a lot of maintenance under my warranty but the unit never functioned at 100% too long before I had to call them back. The new company has identified the problem and I will have to pay another few thousand to fix a system that was not properly installed and maintained under warranty. Updated: I was serviced in oct/sept of 2025 (7 months ago). I had multiple house visits during that time to fix the air conditioning. Luckily it was starting to get cold so I didnt have to keep putting time and energy into it. Now, it’s hot again so i need my system properly fixed and not a band aid solution. I’m reviewing the quality of the work. Up until this reply I would have said that you all were always a joy to work with even if my issue was not fixed. The technicians are great and try their best unfortunately a second pair of eyes was needed at this point. No need to continue an unproductive conversation.

I just had my AC cleaned by Payton and he did a terrific job. I was actually concerned that it was gonna be like additional suggestions on getting a deeper clean or coils cleaned or what not but everything went smooth and he was super professional answered lots of questions with detailed answers, and even suggested a diverter for my air vent in the bedroom so that the air will reroute to the other side of the room to make it cooler. Job well done! And I will always recommend Old Coast thank you so much.
